Small screws with an internal hex and a ball head 0.7 mm in size. A fine detail for places where the head of a screw is seen from close by on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Additional fasteners for building plastic models. The head is ball-shaped and has a recess for a key with an internal hex, that is for what is commonly called an Allen key. This item carries the size of 0.7 mm, which is the finest end of the sizes offered in the line.
A screw with an internal hex has an entirely different character from a screw with a hexagon head. Instead of raised edges you look into a recess, and it is that recess that holds a shadow even under paint. A molded imitation never has it deep enough, so it disappears once sprayed. The set aims at motorcycle models, where the screws on the frame, the brake calipers and the covers are exposed and the viewer has them right in front of him.
At this size the work is done with tweezers only; with your fingers you will merely lose the element. Pre-drill the hole with the finest micro drill bit you have and check the depth dry. Dose the glue with the tip of a pin, not straight from the bottle. Wash and degrease the elements before painting, so that the paint holds. Spray thinly and rather in two passes; a heavy layer will fill the recess in the head and the whole effect will be gone.
The package holds only the fasteners named. A kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
