Clear canopies for 1:72 helicopter models answer the weakest point of small scale: a thick clear moulding that distorts and visually shrinks the cockpit. Thin vacuum-formed transparencies cover the Cobra in open and closed versions, the Huey, bubble-canopy Mi-24 variants and the Apache; many items hold two pulls, so a first attempt need not be the only one. The intended kit is named in every title.

It is on 1:72 helicopter kits that thin film does most, because the wall of a moulded part here works out at nearly ten scale centimetres. Spray the frames cleanly through 1:72 and 1:144 canopy masks; further notes on cutting and gluing are with the helicopter canopies. Cut with a fresh blade, in several light passes.
