A collector action figure of an American Marine in 1:6 scale, roughly 30 cm tall, from Dragon. Unlike small plastic kit figures, this is a large, articulated model with a cloth uniform and a set of realistic equipment and accessories. The character represents a machine gunner of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) with his weapon and the matching gear.
The figure is based on the dress and armament of a machine gunner of the US Marine Corps. The machine gunner was one of the key members of an infantry unit and provided fire support, and the equipment and the gear carried on the model match that role. The large 1:6 scale allows an exceptionally faithful rendering of the detail of the uniform, the belts and the accessories.
The figure is meant above all for collector display. The articulated body allows poses to be arranged; handle the cloth uniform and the small items of gear carefully so that the seams and joints are not damaged.
