Injection-molded plastic kit of the sports coupe Nissan Fairlady Z Version Nismo in 1:24 scale from Tamiya. The body is precisely rendered in white plastic with a faithful surface texture and the specific parts of the Nismo version, such as the side skirts and the rear wing. The model offers a detailed interior and dashboard, five-spoke wheels with synthetic rubber tires, a painted chassis and mesh in the front grille. The box contains a set of waterslide decals.
Fairlady Z is the Japanese name of the Nissan sports coupe that was sold in other markets as the 350Z. The Version Nismo came about in cooperation with the Nismo racing division and brought improved aerodynamics: a lengthened nose, a front spoiler, a rear wing and a diffuser for more downforce. It was powered by a strong V6 engine, which made the car a sharply tuned road coupe with motorsport DNA.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Spray the body with a primer and then with an airbrush; the smooth surfaces of a coupe call for careful smoothing and a good gloss clear coat. Finish the interior and the chassis before you close up the body. Finish the Nismo parts, the grille mesh and the wheels from reference, underline the gaps and the detail with a fine wash, and polish the model at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
