The light blue DN-Vaalean Sininen 1942/1944 is a water-based acrylic paint from the Finnish aircraft shades of the Italian brand Lifecolor; the years in the name delimit the period the tone is set for.
Finnish wartime aircraft carried an olive green on their upper surfaces, and in the Lifecolor acrylic range it is represented by the shade Oliivin Vihreä — Olive Green (Finnish WWII Air Force) .
The sandy yellow position of Italian camouflage schemes is represented in the Lifecolor acrylic range by the paint Regia Aeronautica Giallo Mimetico 16 .
The base brown position of Italian wartime camouflage is offered by the acrylic paint Regia Aeronautica Nocciola 4 from Lifecolor, intended for models of the machines of the Regia Aeronautica.
The lower surfaces of American wartime aircraft were meant to disappear against the sky, and the acrylic paint US Neutral Grey FS36173 from Lifecolor serves exactly that.
